Overview
The mission focuses on deploying large-scale agility and continuous delivery for cloud-based services. It aims to enhance both private and public cloud offerings, accessible via APIs or a global portal. Multiple specialized teams are being established to advance global cloud platform capabilities. The primary objective is to improve the quality and management of IT systems.
Key contributions include maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure and establishing a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) function.
Responsibilities
Developing robust, scalable, instrumented enterprise systems driven by strong requirements-based design
Applying software engineering concepts to IT operational challenges
Nurturing a robust Production Engineering culture
Performing deployment, administration, management, configuration, testing, and integration tasks
Troubleshooting priority incidents, facilitating blameless post-mortems
Working with development entities throughout the software life cycle ensuring sustainable software releases
Performing analytics on previous incidents and usage patterns to better predict issues and take proactive actions
Mandatory Skills
Cloud Engineer experience, especially in Private Cloud environments
Advanced troubleshooting and rapid resolution of complex system incidents in cloud environments
Expertise in Python
Strong experience with Kubernetes and OpenStack
Experience with SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) practices and production engineering
Ability to autonomously manage critical environments and document operating processes
Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools
Appreciated Skills
Certification on AWS and Azure is a plus
Experience with containerization (Docker)
Familiarity with hybrid and multi-cloud architectures
Technical assistance for new projects and cloud migrations
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell)
Handling JIRA requests and incident management tools
Leadership on technical and security issues, strong proposals for continuous improvement
Openness to other vendors for cloud migration or support, as needed
This role will undergo 2 rounds of interviews including 1 with the end client.
