Context

This position is seeking to improve the quality and reliability of IT systems. This role is mainly centered on the operation and optimization of J2EE application servers

Responsibilities

·       Maintain the operational condition of J2EE hosting platforms (Supervision, Availability, Resilience – BCP & DRP)

·       Deploy and operate JEE application servers (JBOSS, Tomcat, FatJar) and web servers (Apache)

·       Integrate, test, and validate operating procedures

·       Implement and execute the Patch Management policy and handle obsolescence of Web & Application Servers

·       Automate repetitive tasks using SHELL, Ansible, Jenkins

·       Perform JVM sizing and capacity planning

·       Provide support for hosted applications: performance analysis, error diagnosis, and tuning

·       Assist in project implementation and contribute to the definition of standard JEE technical components

·       Operational maintenance of J2EE platforms

·       Validated and documented operating procedures

Mandatory Skills

·       Extensive experience in production environments with JBOSS, Tomcat, FatJar

·       Apache

·       Red Hat Enterprise Linux

·       SHELL scripting, Ansible, Jenkins

·       Patch Management and obsolescence handling

·       Operating procedure validation

·       Supervision and log analysis (must be able to read and interpret logs)
