JOB DESCRIPTION

This role will be instrumental in providing technical sales support to our enterprise sales team and would potentially be suitable for a talented individual with cybersecurity Pre-Sales experience.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Engineer, reporting to our European Vice President of Sales. The SE will focus on the French market and French-speaking countries. There may be some overlap with other territories if needed.

  • Help support our Sales Team with Technical queries from prospective customers;

  • Deliver remote technical presentations/demonstrations to prospective customers, primarily via Zoom / Webex but possibly using other online tools;

  • Act as a technical consultant and trusted advisor to our Channel Partner network;

  • Provide, or source, answers for Request for Information/Proposal (RFI/RFP) responses;

  • Deliver transfer of information (TOI) and product education to Channel Partners and prospective enterprise customers (Typically 3000 seats and above);

  • 20-30% travel based on customer & partner need;

  • Develop and maintain expertise in feature functionality and practical application of all our product offerings;

  • Help companies across varying industries to understand and evaluate the technical capabilities of our products, leading evaluation cycles to gain product fit consensus;

  • Understand and interpret prospective customer requirements, delivering customized product demonstrations to match customer needs;

  • Design, validate and document technical solutions to share with prospective customers;

  • Collect and analyze feedback from prospective customers to influence roadmap, collaborating with sales engineering, engineering, and product management teams to meet our prospects’ business challenges and align with our internal business objectives.


Profil recherché

ABOUT YOU :

Qualifications :

  • Engineer’s Degree or master’s degree in Computer Science or IT Security;

  • You have 3-5 years of experience as a pre-sales IT Security SE or as a vulnerability manager for an end-user;

  • We are looking for a confident and articulate presenter, who is comfortable at explaining technical concepts in simple terms. Ideally, you will have experience presenting to a small audience in a pre-sales environment;

  • Must be a strong team player, who enjoys collaborating with others and sharing knowledge to create best practices;

  • You’ll be disciplined and organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and prioritize based on support from your manager;

  • A high degree of verbal and written communication;

  • Demonstrates a good proficiency in general IT skills (e.g. comfortable working with multiple operating systems, browser configuration, troubleshooting methodology, client/server models, etc);

  • Working knowledge of networking, Linux, /Unix, macOS, Windows administration, patch deployment, and system configuration;

  • Basic Windows 10 administration and troubleshooting;

  • Basic knowledge of web protocols (e.g. HTTP, TLS/SSL);

  • For bonus points, you might currently be working within the Security Threat Landscape and have a good grasp of network security technologies (e.g. Proxies/Firewalls);

  • Bonus points for CISSP certification;

  • Experience fully understanding technology platform capabilities;

  • Ability to build relationships with potential customers, understand their environment, and introduce new concepts to solve problems;

  • Ability to balance multiple competing priorities;

  • Comfort with a fluid, fast-paced environment;

  • A passion for problem-solving and roll up a sleeves demeanor.
