We are currently looking for a Make Up Product Manager (Eyes) to join our Make Up Marketing team.
As a Product Manager for the Make-Up Color category at Clarins, you will be responsible for a highly dynamic and complex product portfolio with strong development ambitions, overseeing the category from product development to launch and lifecycle management. Your mission is to deliver innovative, high-performance products and powerful 360° activations, fully aligned with Clarins’ brand values and market expectations, to drive sustainable growth and strengthen Clarins’ leadership in Make-Up.
What you’ll do :
Competition & market knowledge
- Market analysis: Stay informed about market dynamics, sub-segment breakdowns, top competitors, and emerging trends to provide global teams with actionable insights.
- Competitive strategies: Analyze competitor strategies including launch timings, product repushes, franchise building, and promotional activities.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze market performance in the makeup segment to support and refine brand strategy.
Marketing strategy
- Launch performance: Monitor and evaluate the success of product launches and the existing catalog portfolio.
- Strategic planning: Co-build the Color make-up strategy identifying key launches, discontinuations, franchise development, and target markets.
- Calibration: Establish launch ambitions by zone, set rank targets & define pricing strategy
Product development
- Concept development: Collaborate with global teams to develop product concepts and detailed product briefs.
- Operational coordination: Oversee and coordinate the operational development of current and future projects, ensuring responsible management of formula development, packaging, and other upstream processes.
- Assure project profitability
360° development
- Campaign activations: Create impactful, differentiated, and coherent 360° campaigns around product launches to maximize potential.
- Consistent messaging: Ensure consistent messaging throughout the 360° development process, and federate downstream 360° teams.
Portfolio management:
- Category animation & local relevancy: Drive the category beyond global launches by leading local relevancy projects, one-shots, and specific market requests. Partner closely with key markets to identify growth opportunities and co-create tailored initiatives aligned with global strategy.
- Manage fast-track developments: Manage fast-track projects responding to market opportunities, ensuring speed, operational excellence, and respect of brand standards and profitability.
Management
- Project Oversight: Provide guidance on project prioritization, offer constructive feedback, and ensure alignment with project goals (provide input on projects, follow up briefs, creatives..)
- Collaboration framework: Define clear ways of working (guidelines, toolkits, decision frameworks) to streamline collaboration, prioritization, and execution of local initiatives.
