Tech Partnerships at Gorgias

  • 25 GTM Partners (e.g., Klaviyo, Attentive, Yotpo), and 150 long tail Tech Partners
  • Average contract value: $3k+
  • Close rate: 50%
  • Sales cycle: 30 days to close
  • Growth: 93%+ for the last 12 month

Reporting Team
You will report to the Director of Partnerships, Billy and work closely with our Partnership team within the Sales & Partnerships organization.

KPI Structure
You will carry and own a team quarterly revenue (closed ARR) target, sourced from partners managed by your team and leads generated from events.

You will also work closely with our Head of Apps on product related KPIs (i.e. integrations)

What You’ll Do
Your Mission
Help scale our Technology Partnerships channel by leading a team that drives revenue through existing & newly identified Technology Partners.
You will leverage traditional & innovative business development tactics to build a revenue flywheel with our biggest Technology Partners.

To accomplish this, you will:

  • Lead a team of 4-5 Partner Managers based in the US and Canada
  • Drive Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) through strategic technology partnerships and events
  • Be an active coach through call reviews and feedback sessions
  • Daily management of the team to ensure healthy weekly activity: pipeline/deal review, calls, partner SLAs, and event reviews
  • Be the face of the company at various events, meetups, and trade shows
  • Empower and enable your team to successfully manage 50+ technology partners
  • Work closely with leadership to build new partner program playbooks
  • Develop our partner program, processes, and documents to enable our partners to become ambassadors of our software and drive leads through our sales process
  • Constantly optimize the sales pipeline by leveraging data analysis at each step of the process
  • Become a thought leader on the topic of eCommerce
  • Provide maximum value to help our partners grow their business at scale through innovative co-marketing techniques

Profil recherché

  • You are comfortable carrying a revenue quota and have owned a team quota
  • Strong manager, you are a great coach, mentor, recruiter, and motivator
  • You are very tech-savvy, have previous experience in a SAAS company, and can demonstrate a holistic understanding of APIs, marketing, and sales strategies
  • You have experiencing creating and executing go-to-market strategies with partners
  • A self-starter who is confident in an entrepreneurial environment and has a track record of using analytical skills to proactively develop new insights that drive operational strategy and revenue growth
  • 4+ years experience in SaaS sales and partnerships
  • You are high-energy and hungry to drive growth.
  • You want to step up to the challenge of hustling to scale our technology partner channels
  • Can demonstrate a holistic understanding of marketing and sales strategies in eCommerce or SAAS
  • Passion for learning! You know that you don’t know much, and you want to improve every day.

Nice to have:

  • Ecommerce experience in the Shopify ecosystem (you might have even ran your own brand in the past)
  • Technical understanding of APIs and some basic SQL knowledge
  • Extremely analytical, know how to create dashboards and track KPIs at a granular level
