About this role: 

We are seeking a data-driven Senior Product Manager (f/m/x) to become a key member of our Value Creation team.

 

In this position, you will be playing an integral role in implementing display advertisements and programmatic solutions on our #Pepper platforms. This will include identifying opportunities in the advertising space, staying up-to-date with market trends and understanding expectations of the people using our platforms, therefore shaping the strategic vision of the product and aligning it with our business goals. 

 

You will leverage your extensive knowledge of display ad ecosystems and technologies to define product requirements, and manage the entire product lifecycle from concept through to launch. In order to do so, you will work closely with your cross-functional team of a product designer and several developers, in addition to a product analyst and your stakeholders.

 

This position is based in Berlin in a hybrid modality.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the definition, technical setup, and introduction of new advertising solutions that will propel the company's revenue growth while seamlessly meeting user needs without causing disruption, confusion or invasion of privacy.
  • Enhance the quality of ads by optimising ad placement and enhancing performance metrics, by amplifying ad viewability to facilitate increased CPMs
  • Contributing to shaping the OKRs of your cross-functional team, and iteratively delivering solutions to meet these goals.
  • Meeting with product analysts, product designers, and developers to discuss new ideas, finalize concepts, and prioritize work according to our overall strategy and the expected impact.
  • Deriving insights from quantitative & qualitative research to gain a deep understanding of the customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that enhance the user experience.
  • Creating and maintaining close relationships with stakeholders to understand their business constraints and to get their buy-in.
  • Developing a good understanding of the different functions of our company and how they work together, while gaining knowledge about our industry.
  • Defining, monitoring and analysing relevant success metrics.
  • Taking the active role in daily development of new features by preparing comprehensive user stories, managing execution and feature roll-out on web and app platforms. 
  • Documenting and communicating feature releases and being the go-to expert for anyone trying to understand more about them.

Your Profile : 

  • At least 5 years of experience in product management.
  • At least 4 years of experience in display/mobile advertising with a proven track record.
  • Extensive knowledge of display ads ecosystems, media landscape, technologies, and platforms.
  • Strong understanding of digital ad sales processes, programmatic advertising, and ad compliance (such as GDPR, CCPA, etc.).
  • Demonstrated ability for complex data analysis and deriving insights.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the techniques and methods of modern product discovery and product delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn multiple functional areas of business – engineering, design, finance, sales, or marketing.
  • Demonstrated ability to figure out solutions to hard problems with many constraints, using sound judgement to assess risks, and to lay out your argument in a well-structured, data-informed, written narrative.
  • Proven ability to engage with developers, designers, and company leaders in a constructive and collaborative relationship.
  • Fluent in English.
