You have strong quantitative analysis skills and you are in search of a challenge in the cryptocurrency environment. As an Algo Trader EMEA, you'll have the opportunity to join a team focused on researching, interpreting, and capitalizing on crypto trading markets.

The Algo Trader will report directly to the Lead of the Token Market Making desk in Paris.

Your role and responsibilities:

• Develop trading strategies around market-making, on spot
• Conduct research to identify potential trading opportunities on centralized & decentralized exchanges
• Collaborate with other teams to develop execution strategies
• Define optimal liquidity to provide to clients
• Monitoring day-to-day crypto operations (fund movements, transaction processing, reconciliations, settlements, loan tracking, account opening, P&L calculation, position management, etc.)

Requirements

Background and experience

• University/Engineering school (MSc), preferably in Finance, Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or related
• 2 years of working trading experience within a global financial trading firm (internship, apprenticeship or full time)
• Strong understanding of decentralized exchanges
• Strong understanding of cryptocurrency concepts such as wallets, blockchains, smart contracts and stablecoins required

• Strong maths and analytical skills
• Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced collaborative environment
• Professional proficiency in English and French
