MISSION

As a Senior Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering consulting engagements for clients across the payments ecosystem. You will lead or independently manage workstreams on complex transformation, strategy, operational improvement, and market assessment projects.

You will be expected to produce high-quality client deliverables, lead and structure client interactions, contribute to the successful delivery of projects, help maintain a high standard of quality across assignments, and support the development of more junior consultants.

In addition, you will actively contribute to business development activities, including proposal writing, opportunity shaping, and the development of new consulting offerings aligned with market needs.

ACTIVITIES

· Structure and deliver consulting assignments or workstreams with a high degree of autonomy, including problem framing, analysis, workshop preparation, synthesis of findings, formulation of recommendations, and delivery planning.

· Produce clear, structured, and high-quality client deliverables, including reports, assessments, presentations, market analyses, target operating models, and recommendations tailored to executive and operational stakeholders.

· Build trusted client relationships through effective workshop facilitation, steering committees, day-to-day interactions, and well-managed communication with both senior and working-level stakeholders.

· Support, coach, and review the work of junior consultants, helping raise the overall quality of analysis, deliverables, and client interaction across the team.

· Contribute to the development of consulting offerings by identifying market needs, analysing industry trends, benchmarking providers, and shaping client-relevant propositions.

· Support clients on payment-related regulatory, scheme, and security topics, depending on the scope of the assignment, such as PSD2-3/PSR, e/m commerce, POS terminal, PCI DSS, SCA, scheme requirements, fraud controls, and related market practices.

· Play an active role in business development by contributing to proposals, RFP/RFI responses, pitch preparation, client meetings, and the identification of follow-on opportunities.

· Contribute to practice development through knowledge sharing, recruitment support, onboarding, and continuous improvement of internal methods and consulting assets.

JOB EXPERIENCE

· 6+ years of relevant experience in consulting or the payments industry, with a strong track record in client-facing delivery and high-quality written outputs.

· Experience in one or more relevant areas of the payments ecosystem is expected, such as merchant acquiring, acceptance, cards, e-commerce payments, fraud, digital wallets, payment infrastructure, or related payment services.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

· Master’s degree (Engineering, Business School, or equivalent graduate program)

· Strong understanding of the payments ecosystem, including key market players, value chains, business models, and major topics such as acquiring, acceptance, cards, digital commerce, fraud, wallets, and relevant regulatory or scheme environments.

· Strong consulting skills, including structured problem solving, market and vendor assessment, synthesis of complex information, formulation of practical recommendations, and delivery of clear and robust client materials.

· Ability to translate complex analysis into clear, pragmatic, and client-relevant recommendations for both executive and operational audiences.

· Strong client relationship management skills, with the ability to advise senior stakeholders

· Ability to guide junior consultants, review their output, and help maintain a high standard of quality across project delivery.

· Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and negotiation abilities

· Excellent command of Microsoft Office tools, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

· Excellent writing, synthesis, and presentation skills, with the ability to produce polished client-ready materials in English.

· Fluent English is required. French is a strong advantage, particularly for client engagements in the French market.

Contract: Permanent contract, full time
