Your responsibilities are structured around four main pillars:
1. Thought Leadership & External Visibility
You embody Fieldbox’s technical vision and actively enhance its visibility and credibility:
Identify high-value technical areas that create differentiation in business application engineering, including the use of AI in both products and development processes.
Conduct continuous technology watch and integrate relevant trends into our strategic position.
Represent the company at tech events (conferences, trade shows, podcasts, webinars).
Produce high-impact technical content: articles, case studies, analyses, benchmarks.
2. Positioning & Pre-Sales
You act as the technical reference throughout the commercial cycle:
Support the Sales team in strategic prospecting and qualification meetings.
Assess prospects’ technical maturity and identify potential risks.
Spearhead initial engagements with new clients.
Champion Fieldbox’s technical vision during pre-sales and highlight our strengths as a trusted technology partner, delivering innovative and reliable tech solutions
Contribute to Go/No-Go decisions to reinforce positioning, support growth, and mitigate risks.
Assist in designing offers from a technical perspective: solution architecture, technology choices, workload estimation, etc.
3. Technical Excellence
You are the guardian of a shared standard of technical excellence, leveraging the expertise of key team members acting as technical coaches or Tech Leads:
Lead reflection and feedback loops to challenge and evolve best practices, standards, and reference tech stacks.
Strengthen our coaching and knowledge-sharing programs with your expertise.
Play an active role in recruiting and evaluating technical talent.
Guide teams in the use of AI technologies for development.
4. Project Delivery
You are actively involved in projects to secure technical decisions and ensure smooth execution:
Engage operationally by providing hands-on support during scoping, design, and critical milestones.
Challenge architectures and technical choices on strategic projects.
Support project managers and Tech Leads in resolving critical issues and making key decisions.
Profile sought:
Solid technical background in software engineering, ideally in a consulting firm, IT services company, or tech startup.
Strong knowledge of modern architectures: data, AI, cloud, CI/CD, DevOps, etc.
Ability to articulate a strategic vision while maintaining credible technical discourse.
Passion for knowledge sharing, technical communication, and cross-functional collaboration.
Natural leadership and the ability to rally teams around a strong technical vision.
Fluent in both French and English, written and spoken.
