We are looking for a senior IT buyer who will join our procurement team of 8 people.

What you will do:

§  Collaborate with business units to understand their needs, help them define clear specifications and propose best procurement approach on Group and Local projects

§  Build and participate to business cases to validate purchasing

• manage sourcing process and RFx at Group level respecting procurement processes, ethic and CSR

§  Ensure purchases meet the quality, delivery time, cost and functional requirements

§  Negotiate contract terms and build contracts based on group templates focusing on our internal client specification (KPIs, SLA, penalties, etc.), benefits and secure business, limit risks, including potential discount structures or volume rebates when possible

• Understand and manage the risk associated to IT categories (focus on Consulting, SW, IT services) , have a global IT culture (including main actors, trends and pricing model)

• Manage contracts and supplier-relationship with KPIs

• Work on standardization and volume concentration as procurement levers

• Monitor the market through benchmarking in order to improve cost and quality and detect innovation

§  Maintain cooperative working relationships with main vendors to stay current with trends , technologies, products and services, developing ESI (Early Supplier Involvement ) when possible.

§  Detect new local and international suppliers that can provide high quality, innovation in a cost conscious and expedient manner

§  Provide periodic reporting

• Support the Group Procurement on spend mapping, identification of new initiatives, define savings forecast and identify risks and opportunities

Work in a proactive collaboration with Group Procurement team, Generali Group and internal clients

·      10 years (senior profile) of procurement experience in IT categories

·       Knowledge on Consulting, SW, IT services

·       Experience in international projects

·                Bachelor’s degree in related field

·                Highly proficient in spoken and written English and French

Available for onsite missions in Europ Assistance subsidiaries (3/4 times a year)
