👩‍💻🧑‍💻 Your role at Escape

As our first dedicated PMM, you’ll report directly to a founder and own how the security world discovers, understands, and adopts Escape — from positioning and messaging to launches and competitive strategy.

This is a rare opportunity to define the category narrative from the ground up, at a company moving fast across both US and European markets.

In this role, you will

  • Craft product messaging that resonates with Security Leaders and Engineers, turning our technical capabilities into clear, value-driven stories that move buyers

  • Own GTM strategy for new feature launches, from messaging architecture to the assets that convert. You’ll be working hand-in-hand with the Growth Marketing team to drive the pipeline.

  • Lead market and competitive research that sharpens our positioning, informs the roadmap, and keeps us one step ahead

  • Participate in thought leadership for Escape, engaging in speaking opportunities (ex. partner webinars) and content development

  • Build the sales enablement engine: pitch decks, battlecards, competitive comparisons, and one-pagers that give our reps an unfair advantage

  • Lay the foundation for the PMM function itself — the processes, playbooks, and positioning that will scale with the company

    Your impact:

  • Security teams can immediately articulate how Escape fits into their stack, because your messaging made it obvious

  • Sales cycles shorten as reps go to market with sharp narratives and clear competitive positioning

  • New feature launches land with traction and pipeline moves as a result

  • Escape becomes a recognized voice in the offensive security space, with your fingerprints on the thought leadership that got it there.


Profil recherché

  • 5+ years of experience, with at least 2 years in product marketing, ideally in cybersecurity, developer tools, or a similarly technical B2B SaaS space at a high-growth stage.

  • A track record of marketing to highly technical audiences: you understand what makes engineers tick and how to speak their language

  • Experience supporting product launches and releases, from crafting messaging and content to reviewing the results

  • A master storyteller who is able to distill technical features and problems into compelling narratives that drive action and adapt them based on the target audience

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills - you enjoy working closely with engineering and go-to-market teams

Bonus points:

  • Experience in early-stage startups where you’ve had to wear multiple hats and move fast.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset - you’re proactive, adaptable, and not afraid to build from scratch.

  • Familiarity with application security, developer tooling, or software engineering workflows
