This is a hands-on, curious, design-aware role for someone who loves great furniture, has a sharp eye, and gets real satisfaction from finding the right piece, the right partner, or the right deal at the right moment.
As Junior Sourcing Specialist, you will help keep Enky’s sourcing engine running across New Product, Vintage, and Second Hand, while supporting Operations and accelerating Sales with reliable product information and clean internal data.
This role is execution-forward. You’ll work closely with the senior sourcing function and own the everyday rhythm that keeps pipelines healthy, partner data accurate, and inventory moving smoothly — while also contributing taste, trend awareness, and strong visual judgment to protect the quality and coherence of our offer.
Mission
Support Enky’s multi-stream procurement and sourcing activity by:
Maintaining an active and relevant partner pipeline
Coordinating inventory flows with Operations
Keeping catalogs, price lists, and product data accurate and spec-ready
Helping Sales and PMs specify quickly and confidently
You bring structure and taste. The numbers matter — and so does your eye.
Scope of responsibilities
You help keep the new product pipeline relevant, organized, and aligned with commercial and design needs.
Attend fairs and showroom visits with a structured scouting brief
Source and suggest potential partners based on sales feedback, category gaps, and pricing logic
Track and maintain updated price lists, lead times, and product documentation
Prepare inputs for the monthly catalog meeting, including recommendations on what to add, prioritize, or pause
Organize vendor information and update internal partner pages
Support onboarding admin and asset collection (product sheets, sustainability documents, care guides)
Contribute to curated monthly selections informed by sales feedback, emerging design signals, and Enky’s circular criteria
You help turn strong finds into smooth, operationally-ready inventory.
Liaise with vendors and Operations on inventory transport planning
Assist with purchasing plans and help expand the vendor pipeline
Support initial qualification of new vendors aligned with Enky’s style, quality, and resale potential
Ensure intake administration is clean and complete (documentation, tagging, condition notes)
You help grow smart deal flow and keep it moving efficiently.
Research brokers, liquidators, and sellers in the second-hand market
Build and maintain, alongside the sourcing lead, a structured broker database with clear segmentation
Support early triage of inbound offers (brand fit, category relevance, baseline price checks)
Liaise with Operations for pipeline tracking and transport handoffs
You help Sales and PMs move faster and spec with confidence.
Assist with product specifications from Enky’s catalog and stock
Provide quick support on dimensions, finishes, lead times, and compliance basics
Keep product documentation spec-ready and easy to access internally
Help develop internal tools for design literacy and company-wide product education
You support ad hoc needs while helping lay groundwork for future in-house ambitions.
Assist with sourcing and comparison of refurbishment partners
Gather quotes, lead times, service scopes, and warranty conditions
Organize refurbishment documentation by category (seating, desks, storage, soft seating)
Cross-stream responsibilities
Across all sourcing streams, you will:
Maintain clean, reliable internal data in Notion and Google Sheets
Support Sales and PMs with clear, client-ready specifications
Prepare first-pass market benchmarks on price and availability
Track quick-ship or priority items
Handle routine vendor communications and follow-ups
Support preparation for buying reviews and monthly catalog meetings
Strong organization and high standards for data accuracy
Comfort with structured tools (Notion, Google Sheets)
Clear written and verbal communication in English and French
Ability to manage multiple suppliers and internal stakeholders calmly
Basic commercial reasoning (pricing logic, margin awareness)
A good eye for design quality, proportion, materials, and finishes
Curiosity about trends and emerging brands
Ability to suggest well-edited, relevant options rather than long lists
Genuine interest in circularity, multi-cycle value, and long-term product relevance
First exposure to buying, procurement, retail, or B2B sourcing
Knowledge of vintage and second-hand market dynamics
