You are a young researcher in science with good scientific writing skills interested in learning to take a new technology to market? This job may be for you!

Funded by a prestigious European Innovation Council grant, Elvesys has started the development of a new innovative microfluidic instrument: the GALILEO project. You will be in charge of creating scientific marketing content (scientific reviews, application notes, etc.) and perform market research by contacting potential users of the GALILEO technology in order to:

●      Promote the GALILEO technology

●      Find optimal beta testers for GALILEO

●      Refine the specification sheet of the GALILEO prototype based on the market needs

You will be a member of the Elvesys marketing team but work in close collaboration with the GALILEO technical R&D team.

Your mission will be :

●      To distill novel and cutting-edge scientific information into compelling and accurate content for digital marketing channels.

●      Contact potential users of the GALILEO technology to do market research in order to understand market needs and refine the specification sheet of the technology and begin collaboration through beta testing.

A typical day could consist of writing an application note on a scientific discovery or result, contacting researchers to understand how they may use the GALILEO technology for their experiments and discussing with the R&D team to identify how we may adapt the prototype for each target application.

Your skills

●      Solid scientific and/or engineering background (ideally in the field of microfluidic or scientific instrumentation but we are open to any scientific profile open to learn about microfluidic )

●      Ability to read and summarize high-level scientific and technical writing (publications, reviews).

●      Strong capability to synthesize in a clear manner scientific outputs.

●      Excellent writing skills in English.

●      Self-driven and strong team player with excellent personal communication skills, who can work with multicultural teams

Your education

●      Master and Phd in scientific or engineering disciplines (the field does not matter so much, can be mechanics, electronics, microfluidics…)
