🏠 What We Do

Founded in 2021, Electra is accelerating the shift to electric mobility by tackling the main barrier to EV adoption: charging.

To reduce transport emissions at scale, both vehicles and charging must improve. With fewer players building charging services, Electra (and you as a designer) can have outsized impact by setting the bar for the most seamless end-to-end experience, at the intersection of physical and digital, that will ultimately boost EV adoption.

Based in Paris, Lyon, Bordeaux, Nantes, Brussels, Madrid, Zurich, Vienna, Munich, Milan and Amsterdam, our teams aim to deploy 15,000 fast‑charging points by 2030, helping Europe move toward cleaner transport and greater energy independence, less reliant on petroleum.

In just 4 years, we have:
  • Deployed +550 stations and 2,000+ fast-charging points

  • Opened offices in several European countries

  • Raised over €1B from leading investors and institutions

  • Joined French Tech Next40 and won European Scale-up of the Year 2024

  • Grown to a team of 240+ talented people… and we’re just getting started

💼 Your Mission

As a Product Designer on Electra’s Charging Services team, you’ll play a strategic role in shaping the best charging experience in the market, turning a fast‑moving, complex space into reliable, high‑quality journeys that drivers can trust.

This is a rare design challenge: you’ll work on a product where aligning the digital journey with the physical experience is crucial. And you will have the opportunity to lead in a category where there is no perfect reference. There’s a lot to build, invent, and raise the bar on, so we can become the most trusted charging brand in Europe.

You’ll be part of a strong trio with a Product Manager and an Engineering Manager, and partner closely with engineers to build the product end to end, from discovery to delivery. You’ll use user insights and data to make decisions, ship, and iterate fast.

🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️ Your Responsibilities

1. Product thinking and discovery
  • Understand what makes the charging experience great (and where it breaks) by learning from users, data, and the broader ecosystem

  • Turn insights into clear problems, hypotheses, and success metrics with the PM

  • Help shape the product vision and the key journeys we focus on

2. Design and craft
  • Own design end-to-end: flows, UI, prototypes, specs, and QA with engineers

  • Design clean, consistent interfaces with strong attention to detail (Mobile/Web)

  • Contribute to a scalable design system

3. Iterate and align
  • Test early, then improve based on results, data and feedback you monitor

  • Communicate your solutions clearly so the teams and stakeholders align and start build-up excitement

  • Keep raising the bar on what we ship, challenging how we do things

😎 Your Profile

  • Growth mindset: you learn fast, take responsibility, and collaborate with humility

  • Resourceful: you’re good at navigating trade-offs and help unblock situations

  • Team-first: you’re kind and reliable

  • Strong product sense: you simplify complex problems and focus on what matters

  • Data-curious: you’re comfortable using numbers and insights to guide decisions

  • Design-curious: you follow the latest design trends

  • You have a great UI eye and attention to detail (we use Figma)

  • You’re fluent in French and English

⚡️ What Electra Offers You

  • A key role in a massive international rollout of Europe’s largest fast-charging network

  • A collaborative and mission-driven environment

  • Real impact on the energy transition, cleaner cities, and Europe’s energy independence

  • An attractive compensation package with fixed and variable components (evaluated and paid quarterly)

  • Brand-new offices in the 2nd arrondissement of Paris

  • 2 days of remote work per week

  • Alan health insurance (50% covered by Electra)

  • Meal vouchers via Swile card (€10/day, 50% covered by Electra)

  • 25 paid vacation days + 12 RTT (reduction of working time) days

  • SYNTEC collective agreement (including vacation bonus, additional leave for special occasions, etc.)

  • A quarterly company-wide event with the entire Electra team

  • Sustainable Mobility Package

  • Access to the company benefits platform (CSE) with numerous perks (culture, sports, etc.)

Even if your profile doesn't match 100% of every criterion, we encourage you to apply. At Electra, we strive to create an environment where everyone feels comfortable, safe, and free to be themselves.

We are committed to equal opportunities and do not tolerate any discrimination based on religion, cultural background, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, age, or disability.

💚 We value potential, motivation, and a learning mindset just as much as experience. 🚀
