Indirect Commodity Sourcing Strategy
* Develops and manages the knowledge of the company on the segments:
o Consolidation of needs (volume, technologies, trends, constraints, local
specificities)
o Process flow, cost breakdown by added value and by nature of costs
o Market segmentation, constraints/market risks & trends
o Supplier market analysis and supplier portfolio assessment
* Defines and updates commodity strategy per segment at the Group level and per
subsidiaries
* Quantifies expected improvements (savings, quality, on time delivery, …) at the Group
level and per subsidiary
* Develops aggressive improvement plan and obtains validation from subsidiaries
Supplier Management
* Confirms convergence of the panel on line with the defined strategy and relevant with
the subsidiaries requirements (project & production): main suppliers / challengers /
future newcomers / blacklisted suppliers for the following categories : professional
services without IT, recruitment agencies
* Plans if relevant the phasing out to support subsidiaries
* Controls and approves (in line with defined strategy) new business awards
* Follows up and consolidates scorecards of the suppliers and manages actions to be taken

* Organizes and leads coordination meetings with subsidiaries, promote best practices
sharing, plan supplier reviews
Professional Relationship
* Collects and challenges needs from internal clients
* Communicates commodity strategy and ensures buy-in of interfaced organizations
(Business Lines, HR, Legal, Marketing, Finance, Buyers community, etc.)
* Leads change management
* Catches innovation from suppliers and promotes it to the Group and subsidiaries
* Communicates on achievement with all subsidiaries
* Brings expertise / supports operations when requested by the subsidiaries
* Supports escalation of major operational issues
* Manages reporting
* Operate as travel manager on Egencia
