QA Engineer at Edda

Edda is looking for a QA Engineer for the Paris office to help us maintain our high-quality standards as our product ecosystem expands. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the user experience of our products by identifying and addressing issues early in the development lifecycle.

Here’s what you’ll be responsible for:

  • Establish and maintain processes to identify bugs related to new changes early and communicate them to the team.

  • Implement mobile app automation for Edda’s Android & iOS apps.

  • Manage and track known bugs with a clear overview.

  • Take responsibility for prioritizing and testing hotfixes.

  • Define and apply testing processes for new and existing products.

  • Actively work with others on the further development of our test framework and test methodology.

  • Support releases through regression testing and exploratory testing.

  • Work closely with the development team to ensure quality assurance procedures are followed.

  • Draft clear documentation and maintain it up-to-date.

  • Create clear and concise test plans and test cases.


Profil recherché

You may be a fit for this role if you have :

  • At least 3 years of experience within a Quality Assurance role.

  • Experience with React Native mobile app automation (Detox, Waldo, etc.).

  • Exposure to web app automated testing tools/frameworks (Cypress, Mabl, etc.).

  • Solid understanding of API testing using tools like Postman.

  • Knowledge of ticketing systems (JIRA, Gitlab, Trello, etc.).

  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD testing pipelines.

  • Knowledge of different software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

  • Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and cases.

  • Strong organizational skills and fluency in written and spoken English.

  • A proven track record of working in an international context and collaborating effectively with multiple teams and stakeholders.

  • A strong passion for software quality and a commitment to making a difference.


Déroulement des entretiens

Our recruitment process includes:

  • You’ll have a chat with Shameerah, our Talent Acquisition Manager.

  • You’ll then have an interview with our Lead QA Joshua.

  • Next, you’ll get to show off your technical skills in a case study presentation for our VP of Engineering Victor and our Lead QA Joshua.

  • If you do well, we’ll invite you to the final interview with Clément, who is the CEO of Edda.
