The Partner Marketing Manager responsible for Content & Communications plays both a strategic and tactical role within the global partner marketing team, owning content creation and marketing activities that span the full marketing lifecycle in support of partner business objectives.
As an exceptional writer and editor, with the ability to translate technical themes and topics into compelling stories and assets, you’ll relish the opportunity to plan, build, lead, and optimize partner content and PR programs.
This role will partner with marketing, product, enablement, and program managers across the organization to proactively drive content-focused marketing plans and programs to achieve business objectives.
Define, develop, and deliver the content strategy to support inbound content marketing and outbound content programs, including partner program and enablement collateral, case studies, blogs, email and thought leadership pieces.
Aggregate and maintain inputs for content planning, including audience insights, personas, messaging, competitive information and feedback from content supply chain contributors and users.
Develop unique, engaging, solution-oriented content that can scale to global marketplaces, while maintaining brand and product standards, voice, and style.
Deep dive and understand audience pain points to turn them into insightful, action-driving content.
Collaborate with marketing program owners, content strategists and campaign managers to integrate and repurpose content marketing and campaign content where appropriate.
Contribute to overall content lifecycle management, from creation and editing through approvals, publishing/activation, auditing, measurement, curation, and maintenance.
Provide and report on content measurement using web analytics tools, marketing automation, content management systems and social media management tools; make recommendations for optimizing content quality, processes, and activation channels.
Be instrumental with managing proactive and reactive press coverage opportunities for the partner team.
Work closely with the corporate PR team to ensure a regular drumbeat of coverage around thought leadership and other appropriate newsworthy content.
Develop, manage and measure the impact of PR and media campaigns.
Build and manage the partner communication and social media channels.
Ideate new communication channels, content formats and programs based on audience and business needs.
Manage and execute localization and translation requirements based on content strategy, regional needs, and expectations.
3-5 years B2B marketing experience in high tech/SaaS/software industry with a minimum 3-years channel/partner marketing, content marketing and/or public relations/advertising agency experience
Experience writing partner program and product focused content including blogs, use cases, website copy, sales collateral, marketing emails, etc for a B2B SaaS company.
Excellent cross-functional collaboration and multi-phased project management skills
Must be an independent, flexible self-starter with high-energy and a growth mindset who can build rapport and drive execution with multiple teams
English language skills are mandatory, other languages are a benefit
10-20% travel required
