Overview

We are seeking our first Infrastructure Engineer to join our team! You will be joining a growing tech team of 4 Senior Engineers with a DevOps culture well established, reporting directly to Titouan, the CTO. As an expert in your field, you will also be involved in key technical decisions and will shape the roadmap.

Our infrastructure is on AWS Cloud, fully managed as code with Terraform. We have a secure three-tiers architecture with a EKS (Kubernetes) cluster to handle the main APIs workloads. Everything is monitored using Datadog as our supervision hub. As version control system we are on Gitlab and using Gitlab CI as our pipeline.

We are SOC2 compliant, monitored with Vanta, and we plan to be ISO27001 compliant on 2024.

Responsibilities

• Implement modern dev tool to increase DX and productivity (ArgoCD, Kustomize, AWS Connect OIDC, Kong, Karpenter, Fargate, …)

• Improve reliability and security of the infrastructure

• Design infrastructure to be ISO27001 compliant and stay SOC2 compliant

• Refine the monitoring and alerting system

• Plan for schedule maintenance

• Load testing

This is a unique opportunity to get a front row seat in building and maintaining a secure and resilient infrastructure for a high potential SaaS product.

4+ years in infrastructure on AWS, preferably in a venture-backed startup. Experience in B2B SaaS or Fintech is a plus.

• AWS (strong knowledge)

• Terraform/Terragrunt (good knowledge)

• Kubernetes (good knowledge)

• Licence and AWS certification is a plus

• Has participated in ISO27001, SOC2, PCIDSS, … is a plus

• Gitlab CI (deployed and maintained a pool of runners on AWS) is a plus

• 30 min intro call with Titouan, the CTO. You will get the opportunity to tell your story, learn about Dotfile vision and ways of working and ask any question you want

• 1h technical interview with the CTO or another member of the tech team. You will be asked to present a past project you worked on to understand your approach to infrastructure engineering and evaluate your skills, methodology & communication

• 45 min interview with the CEO to evaluate team fit

• Reference checks with past managers or colleagues
