The role

DNA Script is looking for a dynamic, talented individual to join the Chemistry RD team for an internship in modified nucleotides project. The project consists of multistep synthesis of different modified nucleotide targets. Those modified nucleotides will be test in our technology (enzymatic DNA synthesis) with the goal to synthesize modified DNA for several applications such as epigenetic or fluorescence probe. The internship will be supervised by a confirmed PhD in organic chemistry.

Qualifications and experience

Essential

• Last year of engineering/ master’s degree (M2) in the field of organic chemistry
• Good knowledge and practice in multi-step organic reaction, purification utilizing chromatography techniques (Flash Chromatography and preparative HPLC) and analysis of organic molecules by TLC, NMR, HPLC, LC/MS
• Ability to work as part of a large multi-disciplinary team
• Good understanding and speaking of English
• Excellent learning, organizational skills
• Highly motivated candidate with passion for science

Desirable:

• Experience on nucleoside/nucleotide chemistry
