The Role

We are looking for a FP&A Analyst to join our growing Finance team in our Paris office. We are looking for a candidate who is eager to learn, to evolve in a constantly changing environment and to grow and build his own role in our organization.

You will have the opportunity to work with a talented group of professionals and to play a key role in the construction of the business analytical framework and KPIs of DNA Script. You will act as a link between Finance and Operational teams to ensure a deep understanding and fair representation of their performance. As such, your role will be instrumental in influencing the company strategic decisions.

This position will be an exciting challenge for a fast-learner, rigorous and versatile candidate willing to deepen its financial skills and take ownership on strategic business matters in an international environment.

Main Responsibilities

• Build and improve our framework for the monthly monitoring of the budget for each of the DNA Script teams
• Perform business analysis in connection with the closing of accounts (analysis of OPEX and budget variances)
• Act as a Business Partner for the Team Leaders by ensuring a thorough understanding of the financial reporting across the company and helping them designing solutions to address their challenges
• Supervise the monthly follow-up of our Other Operating Income (R&D projects and Research Credit Tax) and present the dashboards to the Directors
• Contribute to the implementation and improvement of our Executive Reporting Pack for internal and external financial communication purposes
• Prepare ad hoc analysis for the Executive Management
• Participate to the annual budget elaboration
• Contribute to the implementation of our top line and COGS analysis framework
• Participate in improvement of financial control processes within DNA Script

Experience & Qualification

• Business school/ Engineer's school/ Equivalent University Degree with a specialization in Finance
• 2 years of experience in a Big Four, in Strategic Advisory or in Investment Banking
• Fluency in French and in English (international team)
• Excellent knowledge in Microsoft Office Pack (Excel, Power Point, Word, Power BI is a plus)
• Familiarity with ERP systems (NetSuite) is a plus
• Good knowledge of the French and international accounting standards (IAS/IFRS/US GAAP)
• Strong sense of rigor, attention to detail and respect of deadlines
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to successfully navigate within varying degrees of ambiguity and in a fast-paced environment
• Strong sense of ownership
