That is why we are looking for new colleagues into our SW development team on the position of C++ Developer. You will help us develop key features of a product that will define vehicle traits for the next decade.

What you will do:

You will participate in the development of new applications to be deployed in future cars (production from 2025). For our customers within the VW group, we are developing projects such as:

  • Time synchronization
  • Security of communications
  • Detection of unexpected battery depletion

New projects are coming every year.

What will be your responsibilities:

  • You will become a member of a collocated agile team (size 5-8) that implements applications for a Linux-based automotive system named VW.OS.
  • Your code will be reviewed by other team members and vice versa. Code quality, adherence to the architecture and solid test coverage are important.
  • You will implement functionality in C++14 within the AUTOSAR Adaptive framework, using e.g. SOME/IP and DoIP protocols.
  • You will need to understand and partake in software requirements and design specifications.
  • Your code will need to comply with Automotive standards (AUTOSAR coding guideline) and processes (ASPICE).

Profil recherché

Who you are:

  • You have a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or equivalent.
  • You have programming skills, preferably in C++ and basic knowledge of Linux.
  • You are able to communicate in English.
  • Knowledge of tools such as Jira, Conan, Jenkins, Git, Codebeamer will be your advantage.
