Franchise Activity started in Decathlon in 2005 with a first  store in Guadeloupe and we ended  2025 with  71 stores  in 28 territories with 14 partners generating  around 400 M€ GMV.  Our Ambition is to reach 2.2B€ GMV by  2030.

So as explained above, nowadays we need to accelerate our international development and we are looking for a FP & A at United level who will support our growth in order to conquer sports markets in amazing countries.

You play a key role in driving financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial analysis to support our Business development and maximize profitability. You are the financial arm of the business leaders and a value-creation partner who supports the business strategic plan & company decisions  with insightful analysis.

• Support and co-create the development plan for the Franchise Business

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build budgets & trajectories

• Explore innovative financial technologies and systems to enhance financial closing reporting accuracy, efficiency, and data analytics capabilities.

• Monitor Franchise Revenue , expenses , profitability and other financial indicators to provide valuable insights to improve the current Business Model and to develop new Business Models.

• Work closely with our external partners and accounting teams to follow up invoicing flows payments & forecast our Operating Cash flow

• To do analysis Partners Financial Statements Audited that they share with us once a year . Follow up their profitability & value creation vs Decathlon as a  Franchisor

To sum up the job responsibility will be divided in 2 parts :

• Work on future projections & Improve our financial Processes  :  Forecast , ambitions , Closing reports analysis …

• To Follow up Partners profitability with the CVO   :   To work into deep analysis in order to understand how our partners can perform. Check value creation and present conclusions by partner.

• At least 2 years' successful experience as a financial controller or FP&A or similar role

• Hands-on, focused on action! You are flexible and enjoy working in a fast-paced international environment. You love digging in topics and solving puzzles.

• You're enthusiastic-positive, curious ,  you smile, you see every change as an opportunity to progress by finding solutions.

• Good communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Fluency in English
