At the heart of the financial direction of the Decathlon group and the IT United network, our IT Finance teams (> 80 teammates) ensure the design, implementation, and smooth operation of IT solutions (60 tools).

These solutions enable:

• Financial professionals to perform their duties optimally (financial closing, procurement management, economic steering).
• To accompany the digital transformation of Finance at Decathlon by proposing new technologies (automation, RPA, API, Data-centric, AI, and Dematerialization).

JOIN THE DEVELOPMENT TEAM

The engineering team is structured into feature teams, allowing us to mobilize both the technical and human skills necessary for the development of digital products. Each feature team works in an agile manner to create value together and deliver it rapidly. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to actively contribute to value creation while working in a friendly and balanced environment. As part of an internal position opening, we are recruiting a Software Engineer based in Paris, Lille, or Nantes.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

You will join our team of 20 developers (15 backend and 5 frontend) serving 5 features teams collaborating with 20 Product Managers. Your mission will be to:

• Design, develop, and maintain digital products.
• Ensure the quality of deliverables, both functionally and technically.
• Participate in technical and architectural choices to propose efficient solutions.
• Ensure the security and reliability of digital products.
• Continuously improve development practices.
• Continue to develop your expertise through dedicated time for monitoring and training.

Our technical scope:

• Backend: Java 17 / Spring Boot / Apache Kafka
• Frontend: Vue.js, Svelte
• Container management: Docker / Kubernetes
• Cloud: GCP
• Continuous integration/delivery: Github, Jenkins, Sonar Cloud, Prisma Cloud
• Product Organization/Management: Jira, Slack, Confluence

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED

• You have at least 4 years of experience in Java/Spring Boot development.
• You have experience in at least 1 project conducted in Agile.
• You are proactive within the project on both technical and functional subjects.
• You have an agile mindset focused on continuous improvement, quality, and collective intelligence.
• You are passionate about sports and want to share your passions within a team!
