Context

Decathlon Digital is focused on building user-centric experiences to support Decathlon's high business growth ambitions across the complete customer journey for both web and mobile application channels. Given the global explosion of mobile usage, we are seeking a talented Product Marketing Manager to support our ability to capture the most of the growth potential by working on the go-to-market and activation strategy for our shopping app while helping our product teams shape the right solutions for our end-users globally. In this role, you will collaborate with our Product Marketing Lead and with cross-functional teams including product management, local markets, digital marketing, design, engineering, and data teams to develop and execute effective product launch and activation plans that drive user adoption and revenue growth.

Product Marketing

Product marketing is all about bringing the right product to the right users in the right markets. PMMs are responsible for the global product go-to-market success of their products through continuous iterations as well as representing the voice of the end-user in our digital product organization. This person will have a knack for taking complex products, distilling them, and understanding where their value lives. They will have a talent for knowing who their audience is and how to meet their needs. We create amazing solutions to move people through the wonders of sport and we want a Product Marketing Manager that helps us define & launch the best shopping app experiences globally.

Your Core Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with our Product Marketing lead to conduct research and analysis for our shopping app including user needs, market sizing, business cases and competitive analysis in collaboration with UX & local teams
  • Be the voice of the shopping app initiatives, updates and business results to all its stakeholders. Ensure a strong understanding of the latest update around the app by setting up and driving monthly report, communities calls and participating into monthly product webinar
  • Partner with marketing to implement best practices in countries for standard app marketing use cases (Paid acquisition, ASO, CRM, Push notification etc…)
  • Co-create with marketing standardized media kits to launch campaigns on top channels (Google, Apple, Meta, TikTok) and facilitate local marketing initiatives.
  • With the support of our PMM lead, construct and provide training on app marketing that enable countries users to track local mobile application performance
  • Support mobile-centric commercial activations campaign across our countries

Your profile

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in product marketing or app marketing working closely with product teams to take products to market and optimize them throughout the lifecycle
  • Experience building, executing and scaling product marketing strategies from definition to completion
  • Strong analytical skills - ability to analyze, interpret and leverage data to identify new business opportunities and define new KPIs to measure and report success
  • Excellent communication skills - able to distill sophisticated ideas into clear, compelling value propositions demonstrating product benefits and capabilities
  • Advanced commercial awareness and product understanding - deep understanding of how our business and markets operate as well as of the product development process to help shape or iterate product business models
  • Problem solving skills - passion for solving problems creatively, starting small, failing fast, and applying your learnings
  • Stakeholder management - experience partnering, influencing and aligning with multiple stakeholders across different functions, levels and markets
  • Strategic thinking - ability to balance long-term vision with short and medium-term goals
  • Adaptability - ability and willingness to engage in a fast-moving and international environment
  • Passionate about sports
