We’re looking for an experienced QA automation engineer to help us scale Dashdoc to the next level.

As a B2B SaaS platform, we have a lot of different features that interact with each other. We keep adding new features and it is a challenge to avoid regressions.

The stack we work on is Python/Django on the backend and Typescript/React on the frontend.

We have a lot of automated tests on our backend but less so on the frontend / end-to-end side. The goal is to scale this up by 1) adding a lot of tests on the existing product, 2) help the team get better at testing to ensure we’ll get better in the long-term and 3) maintain and refactor the existing codebase to make it easier and easier to write tests.

You would be the first person with a QA role at Dashdoc. The goal is for engineers in the dev team to keep writing tests and do QA themselves, you will be here to support them and help them be more efficient. You’ll work with the tech teams to do root cause analysis, verify fixes, define new tests, and improve test plans.

We’re looking for someone who has experience in automated testing for a software product.

• you can write tests yourself and maintain the E2E stack
• you can help other engineers write well tested code and think about edge cases
• you have a great attention to detail and care about the product working right
• having experience with end to end testing tools (ideally Playwright or Cypress) would be a plus
• we do all of our work in English 🇬🇧
