Life Beyond Studios is looking for a Senior Technical UI Artist to join our team and aid in the development of our game, Life Beyond. In this position, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for our upcoming video games. You will work closely with the design team and dev team to ensure the highest quality and performance of the interfaces.

** Please note that this position can be hybrid-remote in either Paris, or our new hub sites in Barcelona and London.

Responsibilities:

Life Beyond Studios is looking for a UI Artist or Technical UI Artist to join our team and aid in the development of our game, Life Beyond. In this position, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for our upcoming video games. You will work closely with the design team and dev team to ensure the highest quality and performance of the interfaces.

The missions :

• Develop and implement a cohesive and sympathetic UI system, including elements and animations using Unity and other related software

• Collaborate with the design and UI/UX teams to build contextual, intuitive and visually appealing interfaces.

• Work with game designers and engineers to ensure optimal performance of the UI

• Create and maintain technical UI documentation for the team

• Take responsibility for the stability and integration of the UI, including troubleshooting and debug UI-related issues

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in the video game industry as a UI Artist or Technical UI Artist

• A firm grasp of UX design principles

• Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as Adobe Creative Suite

• Excellent understanding of user interface design principles and best practices

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with scripting and coding languages such as C# and JavaScript

• Familiarity with 3D graphics and animation software such as Maya or Blender

• Experience with console and/or mobile game development

• Experience with Unreal Engine
