🧑‍🤝‍🧑ABOUT THE TEAM:

Among the 500+ D-EDGERs, the Product & Engineering Department is made of 250+ enthusiasts coming from all horizons, who reinvent the hotel booking experience for both the traveler and the hotelier. We love to innovate, but also to share our expertise and our experiments through public and internal events : conferences, meetups, collaboration with schools, open-source projects, BBL, book clubs, all-hands, etc.

The AMQ team is in charge of the ecosystem which exchanges messages between Central Reservation System and hotels. It is a team of 5 people who manage 7 brokers, and some java applications. We exchange more than 11 million messages per day, for more than 6,000 hotels worldwide.

🎯 WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • As a Java/ActiveMQ developer, you are in charge of:

  • Analyze the need and the specifications

  • Produce technical specifications

  • Develop a java client

  • Organize phases test and debug

  • Train users

  • Optimize code

  • Participate to the DRP


Profil recherché

WHAT YOU’VE GOT:

  • The job has been tailored for you if: 🦄

  • Mandatory java developer experience, experience on ActiveMQ OR equivalent.

  • Experience with Spring framework, Linux, and any relational database.

  • Ability to develop in projects of all types (new developments, maintenance or specific enhancements).

  • Rigorous, methodical, he relies daily on an excellent sense of analysis and logic.

  • His spirit of synthesis allows him to have a global vision of the systems.

  • Experience with modern software development practices such as Agile development, test-driven development, and continuous integration and continuous delivery.

  • Knowledge of microservices and service bus architectures.

  • Good communication and teamwork.

  • Incident tracking.

  • Good level of English (orally/in writing).

  • Knowledge of AWS

Déroulement des entretiens

🤝 RECRUITMENT PROCESS:

1. Telephone interview with Talent Acquisition Manager

Let’s get to know each other (~45 min)

2. First interview with Team Lead

You will talk about : your background and motivations, position and it’s context, our business and ambitions. (~60 minutes)

3. On-line Technical Test

Test your knowledge/code skills (90 minutes)

4. Second interview with the VP and the Delivery Manager

Technical interview (~60 minutes)
