Under the supervision of our lead DevSecOps Damien, you will be the 1st DevSecOps Apprentice in the company and play a role in supporting the solutions that directly contribute to the fight against cancer. As a DevSecOps apprentice you will be involved in both helping support the core DevSecOps activity and helping others team: software engineers, data engineer, bioanalyst, QA engineer. As a student, you’ll need to have a base of technical skills in Dev(Sec)Ops (modern tools), good communication skills, a sense of service, curiosity and a desire to learn.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and upgrade existing systems
Build, test and deployment automation
Observability (monitoring, logging, …)
Participate in Kanban board & daily
Participate in documentation
Work with other teams on new projects or to alleviate their pain-point
Stack:
Hosting: AWS, Kubernetes (EKS), Linux, Docker
Language / configuration management / IaC: bash, ansible, terraform
CICD: GitHub, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, helm
Monitoring/logging: Datadog
Database: PostgreSQL (RDS)
Codebase: Typescript/NextJS
Data/HPC: airflow, parallelcluster, slurm, nextflow

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with a specialization in DevOps.
Ideally skills in Linux (bash), Docker, Kubernetes
Knowledge in ansible, terraform, a CICD tool, an observability stack is a big plus
Comfortable to work in English (written & spoken)
Rigorous, curious, with a good sense of service
