Responsibilities

As a Solution Consultant, you will play a vital role in Goodays’ exponential growth plan. You will join a team of highly talented sales professionals to achieve ambitious, but realistic, new business targets. As we’re growing fast, you’ll adapt and grow with us, eventually taking on new challenges and responsibilities in your role.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Help sales executives build and frame value propositions that are differentiated and solve customer pains

  • Build value content that articulates the value and the features

  • Be the internal sales reference for 1st level product and technical presentations

  • Build the Pre-sales framework to help accelerate the sales cycle in each step from Opportunity Qualified to Negotiation focusing on key first steps: Understanding the need and business issues, Ensuring we are building a compelling value proposition that you will showcase using our product

  • Facilitate prospect context understanding while introducing Engagement Managers

  • Liaise with Engagement Managers and Solution Engineer teams to ensure proper alignment of sales engagement

  • Develop vertical understanding and vocabulary of our prospects' targets

  • Build a Demonstration framework using the - Tell Framework & formalize scripts that adapt to the main value themes

  • Ensure demonstration environment and scripts are continuously updated to fit with new messaging, feature improvements and product roadmap

  • Manage customer expectations by leveraging our unique differentiators and value proposition

  • Manage the sales bid process by responding to RFI’s & RFP’s, build a bid process framework

  • Challenge Sales teams to ensure a successful sales process from qualification to close

  • Liaise with Product Managers & Product Marketing to provide feedback from clients about product requirements

  • Keep abreast of market trends and product & competitor landscapes

  • Support global sales including France, UK & EMEA & ROW from France

  • Fluent in written and verbal English and French - it is a must

  • Strong presentation skills

  • Significant experience in a pre-sales/consultant role, at least 5 years

  • Understanding sales processes and knowledge of sales methodologies (SPIN, MEDDIC, Challenger, TAS, Helping Client Succeed) or project methodologies (PERT, Agile, Lean Management, Prince2, Kanban)

  • Exposure or good understanding of some of our customer journeys and our target industries (Retail, Banking, DIY, E&B, Automotive, etc.)

  • Knowledge of the SaaS industry is mandatory and the internet industry is a plus.

  • Proven experience in scoping, proposing, and recommending approaches leading to delivering high customer satisfaction

  • Ability to drive customers, and communicate effectively with customers in an international environment

  • Strong experience in managing multiple projects at the same time, great organizational skills, and experience in managing projects

  • Sales & results oriented

  • Highly responsive and service-oriented attitude, accustomed to working in an international environment, action-driven

  • Ability to maintain strong working relationships

  • Collaborative team player combined with an ability to work independently

  • Sound and practical business judgment
