Descriptif du poste

Over 1500 learners, mentors and researchers, staff members passed through the CRI* over the past 15 years. We wish to analyse and document their trajectories in order to understand whether and how CRI contributed to their professional and personal development path.

The uniqueness of CRI is to focus its training offer on learners willing to cross boundaries to actively contribute to a better world and on the rigor of an interdisciplinary research approach. It is a living organization transformed by the learners themselves.
In order to better understand the impact of this approach and conceptualize a generalized framework of change that could feedback on CRI future perspectives, scale our approach and inspire other organizations, we wish to analyse the CRI impact on the career trajectories of past CRI learners.

The research will focus on:

  • Comprehensive and systemic documentation of the diverse trajectories of learners within the CRI community, encompassing past and present students and learners, staff members, teachers and researchers.
  • Dedicated interviews with identified members illustrative of the various paths, shedding light on their retrospective evaluation and vision of the needs for the next future.taking in account their current roles within innovation and professional ecosystems. This latter will work in synergy with a parallel study of CRI’s evolution as a community of innovation.

Several retrospective and prospective studies are necessary to apprehend the variety of pathways and/or trajectories of the different actors targeted. The main objectives are (a) to evaluate to what extent the CRI is a source of turning points in the trajectories and (b) to identify, if necessary, what in the CRI ecosystem supports the turning or the originality of the trajectories..

The candidate will have a PhD in relevant fields ase education science, psychology or social sciences, well trained in the design and implementation of surveys, data collection and quantitative as well as qualitative analysis. Prior roles in participating or studying sustainable education and/or organizations is appreciated.
Specific tasks foreseen include:

  • A subset of in-depth individual and group semi-structural and biographical interviews
  • A Retrospective survey study with self-reported outcome including

    • references to specific CRI activities, both formal (i.e., academic) and informal
    • competencies developed according to the set of disciplines mastered to be able to illustrate the interdisciplinary trajectory
    • CRI networking (past and present)
    • Publication of main conclusions on formal and informal influences of an open innovation center at the interface with the academic world.

As a further outcome, we wish to achieve a more dynamic and inclusive CRI community that would take an active role in shaping collectively the future of the CRI and the planet.

The candidate will be part of the CRI scientific community, the work will be specifically followed by two members of CRI’s headquarter and an interdisciplinary team merging specialists in learning, digital and management sciences.
