Descriptif du poste

The Sales and Operations Manager directly reports to the Chief Revenue Officer, who is in charge of the business development of the company (Marketing, Sales, Website).

The job is built around three main missions:

  1. Manage the Accounts Management and the Customer Support teams
  2. Monitor and Secure the day-to-day Operations, in coordination with the other departments in the company
  3. Be part of the Sales effort by helping our clients benefit from our solutions

As a Manager, you will lead a team of highly-motivated tech-savvy individuals who manage the relationship with our customers on a daily basis. You will be asked to:

  • Define clear objectives for the team members, making sure everyone understands the business priorities of the company and the way they can contribute to achieve them
  • Be a servant leader, helping your team members to grow in their job, removing every roadblock they may encounter
  • Coach them and help them develop their skill set and draw clear career paths

Responsible of the Operations, you are in charge of smoothly running our operations in a regulated environment:

  • Monitor the business and operation KPIs and analyze the available data to deliver insights to help increase adoption and business growth
  • Rigorously implement and follow required compliance protocols and anti-fraud processes
  • Reshape our Sales processes and tools to secure the scalability of our operations and implement the required control protocols
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders impacted by the customer operations (Control & Compliance; Product & Tech teams; Marketing teams)
  • Prioritise where we invest our resources and efforts with customers
  • Gather customer feedback to help shape and define the product roadmap, bringing in new ideas to delight our customers

As part of the Sales effort, you will directly manage a portfolio of clients, which requires to:

  • Build and establish exceptional relationships with our clients
  • Understand our customers and be able to provide the appropriate solution that fit their needs
  • Partner with the CRO and the Relationship Team to secure adoption for top clients
  • Develop a knowledge of the cryptocurrency ecosystem to be able to advise our customers and answer their questions

Profil recherché

Main requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales and / or sales operations environment (not limited to financial services)
  • Proven ability to manage people with sales / customer facing profiles
  • Data-driven, with an ability to easily analyse business data, draw insights and act on them to improve business operations
  • Strong interest in new technologies and knowledge of the Cryptocurrency/Blockchain sector
  • High level of autonomy and organization (ability to manage tightly, over time, a large quantity of information and customer requests)
  • Ability to take initiatives, suggest new business ideas and process improvements
  • Native in French and a good English is mandatory

It is advantageous if you have/are

  • A previous experience in a rapidly-growing and / or changing environment
  • Working knowledge of CRM and customer support systems (e.g. Hubspot, Zendesk)
  • Experience in using analytic tools and building / maintaining business monitoring dashboards (e.g. datastudio, spreadsheets)
  • An effective team worker; naturally collaborative and supportive
  • Technical acumen - you do not need to be an engineer or a developer, but must understand how systems are built

Déroulement des entretiens

  • 1st interview with the Hiring Manager
  • 2nd interview with the Account Manager and the Customer Support teams
  • Test and presentation to a panel of team members (including Tech/Research/Compliance teams)
  • Last interview with our CEO
