This position is a job creation and follows a recent major organization change operated within the marketing team.

This Business Unit is composed of 30 people, divided into 4 main teams: Paid Acquisition, SEO, CRM and Brand & Communication.

One of the key reasons for Click&Boat’s success, making it world leader in the boat rental industry, is to have defined and followed over the years a very ROI-driven marketing approach, enabling it to capture intentionalist clients (through SEO, SEA) and grow in a profitable way. To continue to write the success story in 2024, we are convinced that we need to develop further our brand strategy to make Click&Boat an even stronger brand, and execute a global and coordinated x-channels full funnel approach to unlock new pockets of growth.

In this regard, we are recruiting a head of Brand & Communication that will report to Jean-Baptiste, our CMO, and whose main missions will be the following:

Missions :

  • Define a global offline marketing plan (strategy, budget allocation) that aligns with marketing goals, brand positioning and target audience

  • Build offline budget and objectives, and allocate it per country pod

  • Define and uphold brand guidelines to ensure consistent messaging across all marketing channels

  • Produce assets (new TV campaigns spots, Print, etc.) with the support of internal team and/or external providers

  • Manage relationships with all agencies (media buy, design, PR, etc.)

  • Identify and set up strategic partnerships to reinforce brand visibility

  • Provide consumer, competition and market insights (bandlift, NPS, market study)

  • Monitor overall global performance (both brand and performance indicators)

Team:

As part of your new role, you will join the Brand & Communication team and report directly to Jean-Baptiste, our CMO.

You will manage a global team of 10 people, including a design lead and 3 country marketing managers as direct reports.

Job location: Barcelona or Paris

Remote work: >50% time on-site


Profil recherché

  • You have 10 years of experience in B2C marketing, including:

    • Proven successful experience in marketing strategy definition, global marketing campaigns setup and execution (with budget >1M€ including TV)

    • Proven successful experience in building a strong brand, among market category leaders in brand building

  • You have a good expertise in at least 2 of the following specialties: design, content and copywriting, PR & communication

  • You have significant experience in team management, and you have shown ability to be a leader and embark multiple stakeholders in your projects

  • You are creative and organized, as well as process and data-driven

  • You are at ease in fast-paced and multicultural environment. To be able to manage an international team, you are fluent in English, and speaking French is a plus

  • If you have experience in start-up or scale-up environments / in Marketplace or travel sectors / and you have a boating background, it’s definitely a plus!
