Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage international sea freight shipments from booking to final delivery

  • Prepare and issue shipping documents, including Bills of Lading (B/L)

  • Monitor and manage freight costs, ensuring cost control

  • Communicate with carriers, agents, and clients to ensure smooth operations

  • Handle and coordinate special cargo such as OOG and Break Bulk shipments (advantageous)

  • Track shipments and provide regular status updates to customers

  • Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to shipments or documentation

  • Collaborate with internal departments such as customs clearance, legal and finance


Profil recherché

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in sea freight forwarding

  • Strong knowledge of Bill of Lading (B/L) creation and documentation processes

  • Proven experience in freight cost calculation and management

  • Experience with OOG (Out of Gauge) and Break Bulk shirpments is a strong plus

  • Proficient in using freight forwarding software and MS Office tools / Cargowise is a plus

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
