Permanent Contract (CDI) – CIPEC International School, Aix-en-Provence
CIPEC International School, a bilingual primary school located in a beautiful natural setting just outside Aix-en-Provence, is seeking a full-time English-speaking classroom teacher for September 2026.
The position can be based at either of our two campuses: Luynes or Les Milles, depending on the needs of the school.
You will teach exclusively in English to pupils aged 3 to 11 (K1 to Grade 5), following a curriculum inspired by UK educational standards and adapted to our bilingual environment.
You will work closely with a French-speaking partner teacher and be part of a warm, collaborative and multicultural team.
Your responsibilities will include:
Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate lessons in English.
Monitoring student progress and maintaining a positive learning environment.
Communicating with families when needed.
Working closely with French- and English-speaking colleagues to ensure coherence across the curriculum.
Participating in school events and contributing to the life of the school.
A car is strongly recommended as our Luynes Campus is not well served by public transport.
You are native English.
We are looking for a dedicated, caring and qualified English-speaking teacher who wants to join a small, family-oriented school community.
Required qualifications
Native English speaker (absolutely essential).
A recognised teaching qualification for young children, such as:
PGCE / QTS (UK),
Bachelor of Education,
Early Childhood Education degree,
Or equivalent certification allowing you to teach in primary school.
Experience teaching Early Years and/or Primary (3–11 years old).
