Job description

Permanent Contract (CDI) – CIPEC International School, Aix-en-Provence

CIPEC International School, a bilingual primary school located in a beautiful natural setting just outside Aix-en-Provence, is seeking a full-time English-speaking classroom teacher for September 2026.
The position can be based at either of our two campuses: Luynes or Les Milles, depending on the needs of the school.

You will teach exclusively in English to pupils aged 3 to 11 (K1 to Grade 5), following a curriculum inspired by UK educational standards and adapted to our bilingual environment.
You will work closely with a French-speaking partner teacher and be part of a warm, collaborative and multicultural team.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate lessons in English.

  • Monitoring student progress and maintaining a positive learning environment.

  • Communicating with families when needed.

  • Working closely with French- and English-speaking colleagues to ensure coherence across the curriculum.

  • Participating in school events and contributing to the life of the school.

A car is strongly recommended as our Luynes Campus is not well served by public transport.

You are native English.

We are looking for a dedicated, caring and qualified English-speaking teacher who wants to join a small, family-oriented school community.

Required qualifications

  • Experience teaching Early Years and/or Primary (3–11 years old).

What we value

  • A genuine passion for teaching young children.

  • The ability to adapt to a bilingual, multicultural environment.

  • Strong teamwork skills and a positive, collaborative mindset.

  • Creativity, kindness, and high professional standards.
