The marketing team is looking for a great marketing manager to help them developing, implementing and executing our strategic marketing plans for Cartoonbase!

Role within the organization

As a marketing manager at Cartoonbase, you will be expected to:

  • Manage Organic Social Media:

    • manage social media content calendar for 4 Social Media channels: Linked In, Instagram (/Facebook),Twitter, Youtube
    • plan and map posts by including content for monthly editorial slants, relevant top topicals, corporate & employer branding
    • develop copy and assets,
    • post on all social media,
    • analyse and optimise.
  • Support outbound campaign and sales team with development of sales material: Slides deck, one-pagers, case studies, landing pages

  • Manage newlsetters & blog content (SEO optimised): propose editorial slant, plan content, prepare assets, publish, optimise

  • Support in acquisition campaigns : prepare assets (content, copy and visual assets), publish, optimise where needed

  • Manage events if any

Place within the organization

The position reports directly to the Marketing Director and works very closely with the planning manager, copywriter and creatives. The position is based in Brussels.

Profil recherché

  • Diploma: A master’s degree in communication or management (or equivalent)
  • Professional experiences: Successful professional experience in a marketing role or communication role (typically more than 2 years)
  • Qualities sought

    • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle pressure well
    • Strong interest in digital marketing
    • Tech savvy
    • Ability to understand client needs and business objectives to translate correctly via our communication channels
    • Strong interest in the creative industry
    • Good team member, good listener, working well with peers, good sense of integration and adaptation
    • Full of energy, creative and with a sense of humor and grit
    • English, French and Dutch, written and spoken

Déroulement des entretiens

The recruitment process is structured in three successive rounds:

  • Round 1, HR screening: a 45 minute conversation with a manager to review your resume and motivations
  • Round 2, cultural check-in: a 90 minute conversation with four of your future peers (creatives, managers or a project manager) to make sure there is a cultural fit
  • Round 3, case: a 2 hour case resolution divided in two, a first hour of preparation and a second hour of restitution and Q&A with the agency’s co-founders
