Join the Cardiologs Data Science team at Philips, part of the Ambulatory Monitoring & Diagnostics business, where we leverage AI to transform cardiac care. Our ECG analysis platform helps clinicians analyze Holter recordings 40% faster with improved accuracy.

Role Overview

As a Data Scientist, you will contribute to AI model development, through problem statement, model design, data analysis and interpretation, model evaluation, model evaluation and performance investigation. Working closely with engineers, scientists, the clinical team and business stakeholders, you’ll help ensure scalable, robust, and high-quality AI systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Process, validate, and maintain high-quality datasets for model training and analysis.
• Train, test, and refine AI models to meet evolving performance and business needs.
• Conduct statistical analyses, hypothesis testing, and model validation.
• Collaborate in code reviews, design discussions, and quality assurance efforts.
• Collaborate in the deployment of the team’s models into production.
• Participate in the regulatory initiatives required to productize the team’s algorithms.
• Partner with business, clinical and engineering teams to align AI solutions with user needs and goals.

Qualifications

• MSc. degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Applied Math, Statistics, or related field.
• Experience in Python.
• Knowledge of data analytics, statistical methods, AI modeling, scripting, or SDLC.
• Strong troubleshooting, collaboration, and communication skills.

Aperçu du poste

En tant que Data Scientist, vous contribuerez développement de modèles de machine learning. Le travail de Data Scientist chez Cardiologs consiste à comprendre et formuler les problèmes à résoudre, analyser et interpréter des données, évaluer des modèles et investiguer leurs performances. En collaboration étroite avec les ingénieurs, scientifiques, l’équipe clinique et parties prenantes métiers, vous garantirez des systèmes d’IA évolutifs, robustes et de haute qualité.

Responsabilités principales

• Traiter, valider et maintenir des jeux de données de haute qualité pour l’entraînement et l’analyse des modèles.
• Entraîner, tester et affiner les modèles d’IA pour répondre aux besoins métier et de performance.
• Réaliser des analyses statistiques, des tests d’hypothèses et des validations de modèles.
• Collaborer aux revues de code, discussions de conception et activités d’assurance qualité.
• Participer aux initiatives réglementaires requises pour déployer nos algorithmes dans des produits.
• Travailler avec les équipes métier, cliniques et techniques pour aligner les solutions d’IA sur les besoins des utilisateurs et les objectifs de l’entreprise.

Qualifications

• Diplôme de master (ou équivalent) en informatique, data science, mathématiques appliquées, statistiques ou domaine connexe.
• Expérience en Python.
• Connaissances en analyse de données, méthodes statistiques, modélisation IA, scripting, ou cycle de vie du développement logiciel (SDLC).
• Solides compétences en résolution de problèmes, collaboration et communication.
