The Video Journalist will be responsible for the editorial video production and publications.
She/He will be a member of Cafébabel newsroom and contribute enhancing fruitful editorial cooperation between Sphera partners. She/He will work closely with Sphera media partners and with a network of reporters and content creators across Europe. The idea is to be able to ongoingly cover current affairs and, potentially, breaking news through the publications of editorialised content and content curation on Sphera’s social media accounts. She/He will be in charge of our social media channels. She/He will work with the editor in chief to identify, to produce and to report news stories.

Main missions

• Writing the scripts of the videos
• Producing, editing, distributing of Sphera videos and social media content
• Coordinating our network of European content makers and reporters and commissioning stories
• Curating editorial of Sphera partners
• Mapping trends to implement our editorial strategy
• Audience and engagement monitoring and analysis
• Animation of live stream debates

You are a trained journalist with already some video experience.
Native French speaker. Speaking English is an asset.
Another foreign language (IT, ES, PL, GR, HU) could be a plus.
You have a keen eye on social media trends and in how young Europeans are consuming news.
You are not afraid of a cross-border perspective and of European issues. Your expertise is important but it is your personality and your entrepreneurship that will make the difference! You have good interpersonal skills and you believe in the cooperation between European media. You are also thrilled to join a dynamic and international team.
