Descriptif du poste

We are recruiting for a Customer Service Specialist - Japan.

Once our Japanese prospects become customers, you will be responsible for onboarding them. Then support them.

BuyCo is in a phase of rapid growth, with several new Japanese customers.

We are looking to strengthen the Customer Success team and we need someone who speaks Japanese !

You will join a team composed of 6 Customer Onboarding Managers.

You will report directly to Kévin, our Senior Customer Onboarding Manager and your main buddies will be :

  • Antoine, VP Sales Asia,

  • Pascal, Account Executive - Japan,

  • Kentaro, Business Development Representative - Japan

What you will do on a daily basis :

Core tasks :

Onboarding :

  1. Implement BuyCo solution for pilot phase on a functional level. You will set up the solution and accompany the customer.

  2. Training new users and help them to use BuyCo’s platform in a proper way.

  3. Project management : weekly & monthly meetings with customers, until the pilot phase becomes the ramp up phase (full deployment).

Support :

  1. Manage tickets that are routed to L1.

  2. Build and follow KPIs generating an added value to our customers and to Buyco.

Your path at BuyCo :

We imagine (ideally) a journey like this one :

- 3 months after your arrival : understanding of your new environment (BuyCo platform and clients). You have had your first (supervised) interactions with customers.

- 6 months after your arrival : you manage customer relationship by yourself. You drive product evolutions by collecting customer needs.

- 1 year after your arrival : you are fully autonomous and help BuyCo platform to be more “Japanese market compliant”. It means transversal work with Product team for Japanese market needs, and build a tech partnerships vision.


Profil recherché

If you recognize yourself in this, you have a great chance of succeeding in the position :

  • You speak Japanese AND English professionally.
    BuyCo is very proud to count 12 nationalities among its workforce.

  • You have knowledge in transport / supply chain / maritime.

  • You have interest for technical issues (TMS, integration of ERP and logistic tools) and you are capable of quickly identifying the issues as reported by the customers. In order to explore possible solutions with the Support/Prod team.

  • You are a customer-oriented person, you can adapt your posture and speech to customers, you like to help and a customer-facing position suits you!

    ### Compensation & Legal

    • Compensation : between 6M / 7.5M yens gross per year

    • Choice of hardware (Lenovo or Mac)

    • Participation in purchasing remote items

    • Remote policy : full or hybrid remote with an office in Tokyo (Azabu district).


Déroulement des entretiens

  • Step 1 : interview with Cyril, Talent Acquisition Manager (30min)

  • Step 2 : operational interview with Pascal and Kévin (1h)

  • Step 3 : C-Level interview with Géraud, VP Customer Sucess and / or Annie, Head of People (30min)
