🗒️ About the Role:
Joining our “Client Onboarding” team means playing a crucial role in shaping the success of our engineering department by ensuring the onboarding and the migration of newly signed clients into the platform. Your team’s focus areas will include:
Build and maintain tools to allow bsport client’s to import their data (structure, members, invoices, passes…) and to get on-boarded as smoothly as possible.
Create a scalable infrastructure for our Operations team to manage custom queries from clients during their on-boarding.
Enable bsport new client to discover our Product, by providing an interactive experience during their signup and during their discovery of the application.
🎯 What will be your impact:
As a Senior Backend Software Engineer, you will:
Lead the design of microservices and event-driven architectures that handle high-volume data and ensure a balance between immediate product requirements, technical feasibility, and long-term scalability.
Write robust, efficient, and maintainable code and implement best practices for code reviews, testing, and continuous integration & delivery.
Provide technical leadership and share knowledge with less experienced engineers and foster a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and innovation.
Work closely with our Operations team and our Customer Success Management teams to create reliable solutions to migrate large volumes of data whilst enabling them to apply clients custom queries
Continuously monitoring and improving the performance of backend services using Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, and Sentry.
Participate in our cross-team Backend & DevOps “squad,” providing innovative solutions and improvements to our stack (Grafana, Kibana, PostgreSQL, AWS, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Django, Django Rest Framework), advocating for best practices in observability, monitoring, and alerting to ensure systems run at peak efficiency.

You have substantial experience in any current Object-Oriented backend language (familiarity with Python and Django is a plus)
You have a significant experience working with relational databases at scale (familiarity with Postgres is a plus)
You have experience working with ETL or doing large migrations of data
You are professionally proficient in English
