BatvoiceAI is looking for a Junior Support Engineer to assist with daily tasks and operations, thus ensuring our solutions keep running smoothly.
This position is focused on RUN, as opposed to BUILD, for both applications and infrastructure. It involves various tasks such as:
handling incidents: initial diagnosis and short-term actions
handling customer support requests
using and improving monitoring and alerting tools (e.g. Grafana)
daily checks: ingestion pipelines, application response time, etc.
other routine non-automated responsibilities
help with automation, security checks and deployments
We are a fully remote company, though we do make physical offices available if you prefer those.

You typically completed 2 to 3 years of post-secondary education in I.T. or acquired an equivalent level through self-teaching or experience.
You have at least a few months of experience within a company (e.g., internships); no references are required.
Soft skills: patience, perseverance, a willingness to learn and attention to detail.
You should be comfortable with:
the English language
Linux (core notions, command-line usage, scripting, setting up services)
SQL (we currently use PostgreSQL)
the most common network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, TLS, SSH/SFTP)
You should also be familiar with the different tiers of a modern web application.
French, as this is the language of our clients
Basic understanding of AWS
Basic understanding of Docker/Podman and Kubernetes
Being comfortable with Git
Ability to read Python code
