BLabs is looking for a highly motivated User Research Specialist who can conduct thorough research to understand the needs of our users, contribute to solution ideation, and help in the development of new products. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills in both English and French, as well as experience in conducting user research in the tech industry.

• Conducting research to identify user needs, behaviors, and preferences
• Developing and executing research plans, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing
• Analyzing and synthesizing research data to provide insights for product development
• Collaborating with product managers, designers, and engineers to ensure that user needs are considered in the product development process
• Contributing to solution ideation and developing innovative product concepts based on user insights
• Communicating research findings and product concepts to stakeholders and making recommendations based on the results
• Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in user research.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as psychology, sociology, anthropology, human-computer interaction, or a related field
• Fluency in both English and French, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• 2+ years of experience conducting user research in the tech industry
• Knowledge of research methodologies and tools, including survey software, interview techniques, and usability testing
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize data from multiple sources
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and engineers
