Kolibree is looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) tester to join our growing QA team, to evaluate the quality of our applications and games through manual and automated testing. You will be responsible for finding and reporting bugs and problems. You will also help us find solutions to solve these problems.

You will be joining a growing startup in a fast paced environment, working on IoT products, mainly for Colgate branded products.

In this role, you must have a keen sense of detail, rigor and excellent communication skills. If you are also proficient in running test cases and are passionate about quality, we would like to meet you!
You will have the opportunity to propose and implement improvements to existing processes.

What you will do

• Work closely with Product, Development and Customer Support teams, in the validation of ongoing developments, as member of our Scrum teams
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate multiple testing activities (internal and outsourced)
• Testing new features and baseline functions throughout the product development cycle to surface issues early and often
• Review functional specs, create and execute end to end test plans: hardware + mobile applications/games + backend
• Functionally master the products to implement the right test cases
• Enhance test plan/test cases based on the customer feedback
• Optimize our testing processes (tooling, agile processes, support ticket processing…)
• Participate in bug management in Jira
• In collaboration with the product team, determine the functional scope of automated tests, and implement them
• Technological watch on testing tools and methodologies

You have a technical background, and have previous experience as a QA performing manual and automated tests in a software company, following an agile framework.

Technical skills:

• Being passionate about quality, software development, IoT and mobile applications
• Understanding of software QA processes
• Ability to work with Jira or another task/bug management tool
• Ability to design / write test cases

Bonus:

• Knowledge of a mobile application testing framework (Espresso, Appium)
• Knowledge of Git version control system
• Software development knowledge
• Ability to design/perform backend (API) tests
• Hands-on testing experience of physical products with complex software
