The Supply Team’s mission is to bring to Backmarket.com the best refurbished devices that people want, at a good price and with a level of quality which is as good as new. To deliver that mission, the Supply Team is performing three main activities:

1) We chase and acquire new merchants with talented Business Developers (BD)
2) We onboard new merchants and we guide them throug our platform and quality requirements, with great Onboarding Managers (OB)
3) We help merchants maximize their revenue while meeting our quality standards, with amazing Account Managers (AM)

Within the Supply Team, the Operations Team includes 15 people and is here to drive operational excellence by providing insights, tools, processes and projects to help BD, OB, and AM focus on high value tasks and meet their quality and sales targets.

Your Mission If You Accept It:

• Define a robust and automatized Lead Generation Strategy tailored per country and merchant’s clusters to keep growing our merchant base
• Build Backmarket’s Sales Enablement Strategy to provide the Supply Team with the resources they need to reach their sales and quality objectives: BD to acquire more merchants, faster. AM to maximize revenues and close more deals with merchant : price, stock, references. AM to improve the overall quality of their merchant’s porfolio : quality of delivery, quality of products, quality of after sales service
• Drive operational excellence by automating the sales pipeline, the sales opportunities and quality controls, using Salesforce
• Analyse the Supply performance week on week to reach our sales and quality targets, define action plans to keep up with our 3-digit growth plan on every country and every category
• Deliver continuous internal and external trainings to Backmakers and Merchants through our Backmarket University
• Turn every merchant pain points into tech, and non-tech, projects to always improve our Merchants experience
• Centralize and prioritize all the demands impacting the Supply team to smooth the team’s workload, maximize the business value and give visibility to all stakeholders : Marketing team, Country and Category Management Team, Quality Team, Finance and Legal Team, etc.

You Are At The Right Place If:

• You graduated from one of the Top Engineering or Business School in your country
• You have between 8 to 10 years minimum experience as a consultant or as a Project Manager/Operations Manager
• You have experience working in a fast-paced environment
• You have proven experience managing a team of 15+ people
• You are autonomous, able to prioritize, initiative-driven, doer, scaler and you have strong transversal management skills
• You are fluent in English, any other languages is a plus (French, Spanish, German, Italian, …)
• You possess strong analytical skills, and you are autonomous at obtaining the data you need through SQL requests
