As Back Market is booming and the Platform team expanding, we are looking for our Head of Cloud Services willing to scale with us our cloud infrastructure and SRE strategy worldwide!

YOUR MISSION (IF YOU ACCEPT IT): 🥇

  • QoS & Chaos experiments. These will be the two big rocks we want to tackle in 2022
  • Provide guidance and vision for SRE incidentology tracking and post-mortem processes
  • Help to make feature teams autonomous in onboarding themselves to new microservices
  • Assess the current vision, and current state of our infrastructure for security and maintainability (IaC)
  • Prepare for Asia infrastructure deployment
  • Standup a “GRC” type team within infrastructure so that security topics can be autonomously worked within the infrastructure’s scope

    • YOU ARE IN THE RIGHT PLACE IF: ⭐

  • Have managed on-premise infrastructure as well as cloud infrastructure
  • Have managed teams both on the infrastructure side as well as SRE
  • Understand SLOs, and have an understanding of the 4 “golden signals” for SRE
  • Have a strong bias toward automation and Infrastructure as Code
  • Have QoS experiences (rolling our tiering plans, DCPs/DRPs, SLXs definition exercise)
  • Have experience in managing on-call processes
  • Have strong communication skills
  • Have good people management skills and organizational thinking
  • Are capable of stress management: SRE will be on the frontline during big outages, this will be stressful, staying calm, lucid, kind & talkative remains important in these conditions
  • Great verbal and written communication skills in English
