In order to support its accelerated growth, Back Market is looking for an FP&A Analyst to join our fast-paced and dynamic Finance team in Bordeaux

With a specific focus on People (500 employees so far and still growing! ) and Indirect costs, you will produce reliable and insightful financial data and reports in order to ensure Back Market’s financial health and growth. You will work in close collaboration with the HR team and other managers across the organization.

YOUR MISSION (IF YOU ACCEPT IT): 🥇

  • You will participate in the preparation of the monthly reporting for People & Indirect costs including operational KPIs, company’s financials, reconciliation between HR, accounting and management accounts data & other ad hoc analysis
  • As a strategic partner to business executives, you will advise all Back Market’s operational teams by reviewing the performance and formulating strategic recommendations to contain the overall other operating cost ratio
  • You will lead and coordinate the budget/reforecast management process for all Business units & Legal entities and will be responsible for monthly analysis & explanations of variations vs forecast, both in terms of costs and headcount
  • You will help optimize our company processes whose objectives are to deliver robust financial information and dashboards through the design, implementation and automation of adequate tools
  • YOU ARE IN THE RIGHT PLACE IF: ⭐

  • Master’s Degree in Finance (or equivalent) and a at least 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Fluent in both French and English
  • Energetic and Eager to learn, you have a strong interest in the online and e-commerce environment and are not afraid of working in a demanding hyper growth environment
  • Fantastic and reliable team player with a strong sense of accountability and ownership
  • Excellent financial modeling and scenario analysis skills (expert user of Microsoft Excel is a must)
  • Highly organized, motivated, detail oriented, have a sense of urgency and an ability to prioritize tasks
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills with ability to synthesize recommendations from analysis
