We’re looking for a Data Engineering Intern to join our Finance Experience team in Paris. This internship offers hands-on exposure across two key business domains—Finance and Payment Support—where you’ll help the team build data foundations, automate workflows, and explore AI-powered solutions to improve operational efficiency.
As an intern, you’ll assist and participate in data engineering and automation initiatives that support Finance and Payment operations. With guidance from experienced engineers, you will contribute to making support processes more reliable, scalable, and data-driven.
You will:
Participate in building and maintaining automated data pipelines (ELT/ETL), helping ensure data is available, fresh, and usable for operational needs
Assist in structuring a knowledge database for support use cases by understanding impacted domains, identifying key datasets, and automating data collection/aggregation for AI agent access
Contribute to automation & AI initiatives, such as helping prototype AI agents for support requests, building diagnostic helpers for common issues, and creating automated reporting for support metrics
Optionally participate in analysis and monitoring work by helping define key metrics, creating dashboards, and generating recurring reports for stakeholders
Mandatory! Currently enrolled in your last year of an Engineering School/Masters University with a Data Engineering specialization and your university can provide an internship agreement
You have solid foundations in Python and SQL and already have experience in real-world data engineering (other internships, github, personal or student projects).
You have the ability to learn new software and technologies quickly, being curious about the coding environment you’ll evolve in.
You are detail-oriented and have the desire and ability to work in a team in an international environment.
You’re interested in automation and have a basic understanding of AI/ML concepts (bonus: agent frameworks)
Bonus: You have some familiarity with ETL/ELT concepts and data warehousing (or you’re eager to learn)
Bonus: You’ve been exposed to workflow orchestration tools like Apache Airflow (or similar), and you’re curious about tools like dbt.
You are fluent in English - French is a plus.

You are authorized to work in France (EU Nationality or in possession of valid student visa/work permit).
