What is BackCare?

In order to increase our customers’ loyalty and standardize their after sales experience across countries, Back Market has developed a service to deliver after sales support on behalf of our merchants (sellers of refurbished devices on Back Market). 

This after-sales service, called “the BackCare”, has two main objectives: (1) help our merchants grow their business outside of their domestic market and (2) deliver a great after sales customer experience aligned with Back Market’s quality standards.  

About the role / Your next best opportunity 

We are looking for an intern to join the BackCare team to help the team with transversal projects to achieve our ambitious targets. During this internship, you will get to work with a lot of different teams: Sales, Customer Service, Data analysts, developers, Finance etc. which is a great opportunity to see what they are all doing and how we interact with each other.

You will be mentored by the BackCare Manager and will have some opportunities to be autonomous and lead some projects on your own!

YOUR MISSION (IF YOU ACCEPT): 🥇

  • Analyze the fluctuations of the indicators of the service week over week
  • Participate in projects to improve the quality of the merchant experience and prevent them from leaving the service
  • Participate in projects to improve the quality of the customer experience thanks to the help of all Customer Care teams (Process/Training/Outsourcing Management) and Bureau Of Technology teams (product owners and developers)
  • Work closely with the Innovation Lab to improve troubleshooting and our customer care agents’ technical skills
  • Participate in transversal projects with Logistics Service & Repair Service teams to improve our service efficiency
  • Respond to merchants's questions coming from our Merchant Support Center (our FAQ for merchants)
  • YOU ARE IN THE RIGHT PLACE IF: ⭐

  • You are in business or engineering school and you are looking for a 6-month internship for a gap year or graduation
  • Experience in a consumer after sales management is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills. You are comfortable with Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication (French & English).
  • A real attraction for project management
  • You are proactive, organized and you have high capacity to federate and work with transversal teams.
