AXA Group’s Headquarters in Paris brings together the Group's corporate activities. It coordinates the various entities with the Group's strategy and is responsible for managing international projects. Within the AXA Group Communication, Brand and Sustainability Department, the AXA Research Fund is a scientific philanthropy initiative of the AXA Group that aims to support researchers in the areas of climate & environment, health, socio-economics & new tech.

Since 2008, the AXA Research Fund has supported almost 700 research projects led by researchers in over 300 universities in 38 countries. It supports human progress by funding research in key areas related to risk and helping inform public and private decision-making based on science.

Main activities include:

Climate & Environment Research Valorization & Thought-Leadership dissemination: :

In close coordination with the Climate & Environment Research Partnership Manager and the Head of communications of the AXA Research Fund, the intern will support the communication to promote the impact of research and AXA’s science philantropic thought leadership in the area of Climate & Environment:

• Content production: Produce content (project summaries, research outcomes, thematic publications, videos, webinars…) highlighting research conducted by AXA Research Fund supported scientists. 
• Thematic notes : produce notes on research and societal topics related to climate & environment. 
• Digital communications : contribute to the creation of engaging content for digital and traditional media platforms related to climate and environment research projects. 
• Events : Support in event organization with agendas, content and ensuring alignment with relevant stakeholders both internally and externally 

Impact measurement & dissemination: 

• Collaborate closely with the Research Partnership Managers to conduct comprehensive impact studies to assess the effectiveness of the philanthropic activities of the AXA Research Fund. 
• Assist in creative comprehensive reports and presentations based on the impact measured.

You are currently doing a Master in Business or Communication School with a strong interest/knowledge in Climate & Environment topics, Sustainable Development, Innovation Management, Engineering School with a strong interest in communication and conviction on the role of science.

The position requires the following:

• Intellectual curiosity in cross-disciplinary dimensions of environmental challenges 
• Analytic and writing skills, sense of impactful communication and strong attention to detail. 
• Excellent command of English and French both written and oral 
• Strong project management skills with excellent organizational and analytical skills 
• Advanced computer skills full command of Microsoft 365 suite, experience in AI, social media tools is a plus. 
• At ease in a multi-cultural working environment 
• Dynamic, autonomous, and proactive team player, at ease with multitasking and double reporting. 
• First long-term internship experience is a plus.
