Within the AXA Group Communication, Brand and Sustainability Department, the AXA Research Fund is a scientific philanthropy initiative of the AXA Group that aims to support researchers in the areas of health, environment and socio-economics. Since 2008, the AXA Research Fund has supported almost 700 research projects led by researchers in over 300 universities in 38 countries. The missions of the AXA Fund are to finance innovative research projects to inform public decision-makers while making research accessible to the greatest number of people. The team works closely with the Group Foresight team which aims to better understand the future of society and insurance.

Main activities include:

• Produce notes on demand on key research and societal topics related to health, climate & environment, socioeconomics

• Take part in the organization of the Scientific Board, which is composed of senior academics and any other events

• Help organizing the upcoming research projects selection (such as AXA Chairs, Fellowships or Awards) and any other types of projects

• Support the team in the day-to-day relationship with funded researchers, mainly in Health.

Profile / desired skills:

• Master or gap students
• Academic background in social science, environment, or communications is a plus
• Excellent command of English both written and oral
• Autonomous and disciplined with good organizational skills
• Intellectual curiosity and interest in cross-disciplinary research subjects – in particular on health issues
• Good team spirit
• Good command of Powerpoint and Excel
• First long-term internship experience is a plus
